…William Joyce!
If you remember, a few months ago the World Story Project wrote about two children’s authors we saw at the National Book Festival in Washington DC. One of those authors was William Joyce, who had created an animated short film for children about how wonderful it is to read books and go on adventures through stories. Well that short film, called The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore won an Oscar at this year’s Academy Awards. The Academy Awards are shown once a year and are the biggest awards for people who work in film. Below is the complete film – check it out! Congratulations William Joyce on winning the Oscar!
Great story. Loved it. Thanks for posting it.
